2024 Camper Registration

Have a child age 5-18 with an IEP ? Give them the experience of camp!

Intentional Time Summer Camp offers four weeks of hands-on arts & crafts, games, sing-alongs, and fun functional skills activities that work toward your camper’s IEP goals.

2024 Dates: July 1-31, 7:30AM-3:30PM, M-F

Note: Camp will not be held 7/4 or 7/5 in observance of the holiday.

 FAQs

  • Any kids with special needs ages 5-18 in the Kansas City area during the summer are welcome to register for camp!

    Please Note: We’re currently accepting campers on a case-by-case basis to ensure our staff can meet your child’s needs.

  • Intentional Time Summer Camp costs $4,500/camper for four fun-filled weeks of indoor and outdoor activities focused on supporting each child’s IEP goals. Camp is staffed by special education teachers, registered behavior technicians, and other specialized professionals.

  • Part of our mission is for camp to be affordable and accessible for all.

    We currently award full and partial scholarships to campers whose families fall below a specific income level and have spoken to our leadership staff about their financial situation.

  • Camp activities focused on IEP goals, building functional skills, and having fun!

    Specific camp activities include: parachute games, music class, gross motor movement/PE, storytime, culinary skills, speech & language time, functional academics, and more!

  • In 2023 we held camp at Kairos Church in Grandview, MO, which will likely be our location again in 2024. As funding permits, we hope to have additional KC locations in the future!
